Hiram Johnson participates in the Metro League, which is part of the CIF Sac-Joaquin section. School colors are maroon, gray and black and the mascot is the Warrior. Warrior Pride runs through every sport on campus.
Fall sports include football, women’s volleyball, men’s soccer and cross country. In the winter, wrestling and basketball rule the indoor facilities. Spring finds student athletes on the field playing baseball and softball, women’s soccer and track and field. These are just a few of the sports featured at Hiram Johnson. The athletic program is an important part of this campus. Many students find their identity and passion in sports.
Students who wish to participate in extracurricular sports activities must have an up-to-date physical exam, signed insurance waivers, and maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Student athletes also are asked to sign a agreement showing how they will represent the school honorably, both on campus and off.
Schedules are linked to the website as they become available. The external website MaxPreps will post scores and stats as coaches provide details.
